• The Story
My name is Syauqi. I'm a solo Malaysian hardware developer, currently based in London.Started this project in 2022. Back then I was early in my career as an electronics engineer, without much hands-on experience. I built this keyboard partly to sharpen my engineering skills.The 8 units in stock are extra from an original batch of 10. One was built for myself. Another was promised to a friend.It's inspired by traditional Malay carving on roof skirting rumah melayu — my attempt to blend electronics and art.Extra PCBs from this run — no big pitch, just seeing if anyone's interested.

A custom 65% mechanical keyboard, built on an open-source schematic.The diode array is arranged to echo ukiran tradisional Melayu, traditional Malay carving: one shape, repeated with small variations.

Means “lucky one”—well, not exactly.A quick Google search shows “tuah” means luck, good fortune or blessed.Written in Jawi (the Malay alphabet system before the Latin alphabet was introduced).
Current status: Soldering instructions, key remapping guide, casing, and packaging are still being finalized — targeting to ship out by Q4 2026.
This batch is a bare PCB build — for hobbyists who enjoy the assembly process. Version 2 will be more beginner-friendly and easier to build.

How much does it cost?
I'm targeting RM70–100. For this initial run, I've absorbed the PCB and labour costs myself — you're only paying for core components and shipping.
Why should I buy this?
Honestly? You probably shouldn't. There are better alternatives out there.
But I'm passionate about electronics, and I want to share something that mixes my craft with art — Malaysian art — with the world.
Assembly & Skills
1. Do I need to solder this myself?
Yes. This batch ships as a bare PCB with core components included. You'll need to solder and assemble it yourself. Version 2 will be a more beginner-friendly, easier-to-build version.
2. What skill level do I need?
Basic soldering experience is recommended. If you've done any soldering before (even a simple one), you'll be fine. If you're a complete beginner, reach out before ordering — happy to guide you.
3. What tools do I need?
A soldering iron, solder, and basic hand tools (screwdriver for the M2 case screws). A multimeter is helpful but not essential.

ToyyibPay checkout link sent after you join the waitlist. Only once I'm ready to ship out. Limited stock, first come, first served.
2.When will it ship?
Targeting Q4 2026 — I'm finalizing the soldering guide, casing, and packaging first, so everything arrives complete.
Warranty & Support
1. Do you offer a warranty?
Yes — I cover manufacturing defects on the PCB itself (e.g. faulty traces, incorrect MCU) for 30 days from delivery.If something's wrong, reach out first. Since the board is fully through-hole and repairable, most issues can likely be fixed together, and I'll walk you through it.If a defect turns out to be unfixable, I'll give you a full refund, including shipping. Since this is a limited batch of 8 with no extra units, I'm not able to offer a replacement board.Switches, keycaps, and cables are not covered, as these aren't provided by me.
2.What if I need help during assembly?
Reach out any time by email.I can help troubleshoot soldering issues, firmware flashing, or anything that's not behaving as expected. Since this is a small, hands-on batch, I'd rather help you get it working than have you stuck.Response time is usually 1–2 days — I'm running this solo alongside a full-time job.
